Let me be the first to ask: Why does a super-star-packed team, with the likes of Sehwag, McGrath etc… need a “Brand Ambassador”? I mean, the cricket team is a big celebrity in and off of itself, and then, just to top it off, they’ve also hired Akshay Kumar. He showed up at the “launch” of the Delhi DareDevil’s team, and just hung out.
Now don’t get me wrong, I really like Akshay Kumar. I think he’s one of the few honest and straightforward guys left in Bollywood, but just to come around and “hang out” doesn’t seem like a good use of his time. I’d much rather have Rakhi Sawant do the “Brand Ambassador” thing, don’t you think?
